News news news! Core books in the US and Australia—waiting on secondary books!

Hey everyone!
Dave here. China is officially on holiday, but we've got the core books here in the US and Australia now, which is awesome! The UK books should arrive around the 10th or so.
The only things we're waiting on now are the secondary books (How to Write Adventures, Playbook Sheets, and Cheat Sheets) to come from our native printers (Kindle Direct Publishing). We timed those a little weirdly, but they should arrive at our shipping partners in the next 2-3 weeks. We'd planned on shipping them separately, but shipping costs have jumped quite a bit in the last couple of years, especially in Australia (I swear, it would have been cheaper just to ship them directly from the US instead of sending them to Australia... lesson learned).
Re: accessories (cards, maps, etc.), we're still in production with these items and communicating with a few different providers, but should have an update on those soon.
TL;DR: the core products are here and ready to go out. The add-ons are taking a bit longer than anticipated, but we're looking for a solution and should have answers on those soon. Either way, we're here to make sure that everyone gets what they're owed one way or the other.

Quick Fulfillment Update - Australia books have landed!

Quick update: the books arrived at our warehouse yesterday. We are working with the warehouse now to gather the correct backer data. Shipping is still scheduled to start within the next few weeks! If you have any questions, reach out to us at [email protected].

Quick Fulfillment Update

Hey there, everyone!
Happy New Year! Quick fulfillment update. We heard back from our manufacturing that the books are still on the boat in transit to our fulfillment centers. Here is when everything is scheduled to land, given we have no delays in port or going through customs.
- US/Canada/South America: Arrives at our warehouse by the end of January. Shipping will start soon after.
- UK/EU/Asia: Arrives at our warehouse in early February. Shipping will start soon after.
- Australia/New Zealand: Arrive at our warehouse by the end of January. Shipping will start soon after.
We are hard at work getting the digital version of the cards done here soon. We'll send out an update once those digital files are done!

The Main Book is on the way!

So, after hearing from Bob, Darrell the printer, and my wife, all telling me that the book looks fine (perhaps I'm just a perfectionist), we decided to go ahead and ship it. It should have hit port in China today and will soon be on a boat, arriving at its three destinations in the second or third week of January or so. Huzzah! Hopefully, customs won't give us too much issue.
By that point, we'll also have all the digital files ready for the boxed sets, add-ons, etc., and will have those printing while you're digging in on the main.
The main reason for shipping the book first was to ensure we had it on hand for the GAMA Trade Expo in early March to get it into retail.
(Plus, it's the meat of the whole project anyway, with nearly 75% of the backers ordering only the book!)

Good News and... Neutral News?

Hey all!
Good news: if you were an All-in Backer, Deluxe Backer, or you ordered the Battlefield Modification Deck separately, the Battlefield Modification Deck PDF has just been released. It'll be on your backerkit.
Neutral news: got the hardcover proofs of the book, but, unfortunately, the cover design did't account for the joint, the grove that runs along the front and back of the book where the spine connects to it. So while the design is "centered", the joint creates an optical illusion that makes it seem off center.
TL;DR, it doesn't look great. Furthermore, our sales guy just started his vacation yesterday. I'm waiting to hear back from the printers on the issue with fingers crossed they haven't already printed the entire order. If they haven't printed it, we might be able to slide in with a quick fix before they go on holiday.
Either way, I'll keep you posted. We want this book to look awesome, so I don't mind extending things another month or so to get it right, even if it costs the company more.
